Today in small business launch: managing merch
Teaching is much easier! See our subscriber discounts for classes
Lots of news here, and if you scroll all the way you’ll find a silly video of the two of us as we spent a few hours packaging up Kickstarter rewards. (File under things we never expected we’d be doing as founders of a publishing company: sorting through over 100 packaged t-shirts to determine which ones are “women’s” and which ones are “unisex” because the company that sent them neglected to include this pertinent information on their otherwise numbers-laden labels.)
Going back through our spreadsheet to make sure everyone gets the right items, we were reminded of how lucky we are to have had over 300 people chip in money toward our press. Now that we are sending out your t-shirts, tote bags, and buttons, please show them all off by posting a photo of yourself with them and tagging us (#galiotpress).
(If you don’t have one of these snazzy t-shirts coming your way, never fear! They are available on our site.)

Stop by our booth to say hi, pick up some merch, talk books and publishing, and play some games. We will be at Booth 112 near the North Stage and the Brooklyn Heights Library.
And here we are hard at work packaging up the Kickstarter rewards! It would seem I need better posture.
Love the video! Can’t wait to hear about the first books you choose.
Galiot's progress and offerings are impressive and inspiring!
