It is needed--and very challenging as a goal. I'm interested in your business plan. To survive as a press, you'll need sales. One thing I look for as an author
is quality of the published book--self-publishing so often means substandard print quality, cover, etc. I'm guessing you could excel at that and that would have value, even for people willing to share some of the cost. Will you make print-on-demand available? My book is just finished (non-fiction) and I am printing FIVE HARD COPIES of the manuscript to send to five lovely beta readers. I don't believe in the divide between men's and women's literature; my book appeals to both. My five initial beta readers are all male, then I'll send to five wonderful women. Why? so the men don't get left out. It's so easy to find support among my women friends who are writers. Didn't mean to share this much, but what you're doing answers a need of many if you can pull it off. Thank you!!
